01 / THE PROBLEM
An appraisal request needs a follow-up. A meeting needs booking. And once the customer signs, someone needs to list the property, set it up in the systems and arrange billing. Each step creates another commitment to keep.
At Unbound, the system joined these steps together, giving the team a clear path from the first enquiry through to onboarding.
02 / HOW IT WORKED
The form collects the information the business development manager needs to take the next step.
The business development manager follows up, books the appraisal meeting and works towards converting the lead into a customer.
Once the lead is sold, new task lists are created on the relevant team members’ boards, with work matched to their roles.
The property manager receives the tasks needed to bring the property on board.
The administrator receives the tasks to set the property up across the business systems.
03 / WHAT IT CHANGED
Phone and website enquiries entered one process, giving the business development manager the information needed to follow up.
Winning a customer triggered the next stage of work. The team did not have to recreate task lists for every new property.
Listing, system setup and billing landed on the relevant team members’ boards, making it clear who needed to do what.
THE ORSYM APPROACH
This is a commitments system in practice: connect the moment someone asks for something with the work needed to deliver it. At Unbound, that meant a repeatable process supporting 150 new properties under management in 24 months.
